Employee Interview vol.6 – IT Team Lead

We interviewed an employee from the IT Department!

What is your job scope?

As an IT engineer, my main responsibility is to develop, enhance and maintain the company website and applications. I coded new pages for the company website and developed interactive sites/pages for customers. I am also working on developing a new software project with other team members. Our main goal is to provide the best digital services and products to enhance the online experience for our customers.

What is the happiest episode when encountered during your work?

There is never a dull moment during my time working at Crane Central. Delivering your task and completing your project is one of the good moments, but getting free lunches from our director and deciding on place to eat with the team is always a funny moment.

Can you share your 1-day schedule?

8:50 am - arrive at the office, and get ready to start working for the day
9:00 am - Have a discussion with other IT members on project progress and task to focus on for the day
9:15 am - code code code code
12.30 pm - lunch break
1:30 pm - code code code code
5.30 pm - Discussion with the team members to check on task progress or roadblock
6:00 pm - get ready to go back – osakini shitsureshimasu!

How is the atmosphere in your working place?

Fun is the best word to describe our working environment. We work hard while also enjoying our time in the office with various activities. Our IT team consists of young and energetic developers, making working at Crane Central very exciting.
