Jewel Cafe Malaysia Senior Sales Executive
Currently, I am working as a senior sales executive at Jewel Cafe AEON AU2 mall outlet. My main task is to evaluate and appraise items brought by customers, also my other task is to assist with the assessment of my team.
My happiest episode during work is when all my Jewel Cafe AU2 teammates are working together. We will share all our experiences and moments from the previous working day. They are excellent teammates. We always work as a team and give a positive vibe every time we come to work. We also support each other when it comes to handling customers. Being supportive of each other while entertaining customers is very important for us too. Also, by having a very supportive management team that always helps us, I will always look forward to going to work whenever I know that our team is all working together.
During my day off, I do things that help me recharge and recoup from the physical and mental strains of my workday. Adequate sleep is essential for muscle healing and growth; thus, I aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night. I also prioritize a regular sleeping routine, going to bed and getting up at the same time every day. Hiking, jogging, and wandering around the mall with my family members also help me in recharging. Aside from that, I enjoy gaming because during working hours I need to focus on what I'm doing and must put my love of gaming aside.
Message to job-hunting students
Be prepared to put in the time and effort required to locate a good position. This includes studying companies and openings, networking, creating a great CV and cover letter, practicing their interview skills, and being open-minded which may not be their dream job but can still provide useful experience and help them further their career. Furthermore, candidates should be proactive in seeking out job openings and applying for positions that fit their qualifications and interests. It is also critical for candidates to be realistic about their salary expectations and to negotiate for appropriate compensation.
