In March 2023, we participated in a donation campaign held by The AEON Foundation from 20 February to 30 March 2023. This donation drive was in support of the victims of the Türkiye Earthquake which devastated the nation on 6th Feb 2023, with loss of lives surpassing 40,000, hundreds of thousands of injured victims, and millions of displaced citizens. The main objective was to raise funds and offer assistance to the victims of this natural disaster.
In recent years, Türkiye has been hit hard by various natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and wildfires, which have caused significant damage to people's lives, homes, and infrastructure. These disasters have left many people in need of urgent help and support, and one way to provide assistance is through donations.
The power of donating to disaster-stricken areas is immense. It can provide relief, rebuild communities, and make a difference in the lives of those affected. The donations can go towards medical aid, food, shelter, and other basic necessities, and every bit helps.
The support of the international community is crucial in times like these.
We are doing our part in extending our helping hand to the people of Türkiye during their period of crisis, namely the rescue and relief effort towards the victims of the Türkiye Earthquake.
